THE VERY FIRST TRAIL DRIVE IN AMERICAN HISTORY
The first trail drive took place in August, 1779 when 1700 head of Texas longhorn cattle were trail driven from San Antonio to Goliad to Nacogdoches to New Orleans in support of the American Revolution. The Texas Connection to the American Revolution Association (TCARA), a non-profit historical association, invites you to help commemorate that trail drive by participating in the first annual TCARA TRAIL RIDE & Parade.
TBA, 2006
